Four thousand times a day, America places the miracle of a newborn human child into waiting hands. How capable and committed those hands are to nurture that precious, vulnerable infant determines the future of our democracy.

While our nation’s leaders focus on everything else but children and families, my children become less safe every day, our national fabric unravels, and our future disintegrates. Yet, we have no comment from those who govern us.

While we ignore the writing on the wall, in the last ten years the violent crime of our children has quadrupled, suicide for children ages ten to fourteen has tripled, aggravated assault by our teens has jumped 64%, the need for serious mental health services for children has tripled, and every year 40 of our children have been murdered by their classmates and 1,500 of our infants and toddlers have been killed by their parents. Yet, we have no comment from those who govern us.

When parents fail their children, the pain that results bleeds into our classrooms, our communities, and our courtrooms, fueling a pandemic social breakdown that drains our economic recovery and threatens our nation’s future as a civil society. Yet, we have no comment from those who govern us.

I have questions that need answers:

1. How do we build a strong future on broken children?

2. How do we soar like the Eagle when we govern like an ostrich?

3. How do we secure our homeland when we ignore the security of our homes?

Family is the foundation of American life. Family bonding is the “glue” that holds our children together and thus our nation’s future. By committing to the AMERICA’S ANGEL Mission we invest in the promise of our children, not their pathology once we have failed them. Our first commitment must be to empower parents to protect and nurture their children for the sake of us all. When we invest in strong families, we invest in a strong America.

I value my children being safe in their classrooms and neighborhoods.

I value the neuroscience that proves the developing brain reflects its environment.

I value my tax dollars funding every child’s world-class education, not world-class prisons that we build and fill faster than any nation in the history of the world.

I value leaders who act to reverse the social trends that are strangling our economy and plunging our nation’s moral compass due south.

I value leaders who invest more in the promise of our children than in fixing their pathology after we have failed them.

I value leaders that support the patriotic core of nation-building – empowering parents to raise ethical, responsible, and compassionate children.

I support the AMERICA’S ANGEL Mission to raise the bar on raising our children and establish their well-being as our Nation’s 1st Priority.

I support the AMERICA’S ANGEL Campaign because the mission creates a foundational shift in what our Nation values. If you value my vote, I urge you to do the same.
